OK I was so pleased with my electric propagator that today I went out and bought a bigger one 🙂

Homebase had a large propagator for around £25.00 which was great, I also bought some more plant pots as I was running low, The only problem was when I got back to the car park and remembered I had the motorbike not the car LOL

Managed to get it all on though 🙂

I thought I would try things a little different this year, Instead of freezing my butt off sowing seeds at the allotment in January and February I will start my seedlings off at home on the kitchen windowsill.

I have had a electric propagator for quite a few years but never used it so was quite pleased to be trying it out.

I also was read about the benefits of using Capillary matting on the base of my trays so that it helps to prevent over watering and it also holds water so that your plants don’t dry out as quick. Homebase sold some for a good price so with the matting and some water retaining granules for on top I’m hoping for a great start 🙂
