Spent lovely afternoon down the allotment with J-Leigh and my dad.

I had a lovely surprise when I arrived at the allotment to see Dad already there, He was just finishing turning over  the “Roots” bed.

I managed to get the “legumes and onion” bed turned over again and got the broad beans planted out.

J-Leigh done sieving soil and sowing some more seeds, Plus she was in charge of the camera 🙂

Had a good day down the allotment today, so many jobs to be done and like every year I seem to be so far behind.

I ordered a load of plug plants this year due to starting sowing late, now I am hoping I will have all the raised beds ready in time.

Managed to plant the redcurrant bush today, This has been in a pot for about 2 years so AT LAST 🙂 My hope is it will grow big enough to tie to the branches that I put in behind it.
